Green Peas Masala Curry | Masala Vatana Curry

Ingredients :
- ½ cup pressure cooked Dry Green peas
- 1 big fried Sliced Onion
- ¼ cup fried Sliced Dry Coconut
- 6-7 Garlic Cloves
- Small piece of Ginger
- 2 tbsp fried Coriander Seeds
- Curry leaves for tempering
- Freshly chopped Coriander
- ½ tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp Haldi / Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking

Step by step method of preparing Green Peas Masala Curry | Masala Vatana Curry
- Soak the green peas for 7-8 hours or for overnight.
- Pressure cook the soaked green peas for 5-6 whistles or till nicely done.
- In a mixer jar add fried sliced onions,fried dry coconut,fried coriander seeds,garlic cloves,ginger,jeera,haldi,chilli powder and garam masala.
- Grind to a fine paste.Add a bit water while grinding the paste.
- In a pan add oil.
- Temper the oil with curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves.
- Now add the finely grinded masala paste.
- Saute the paste till it leaves oil on the sides of pan.
- Now add pressure cooked green peas.
- Add salt as per taste.
- Give a mix.
- Add water to the mixture.
- The consistency of the gravy should be medium.
- Cook for next 10 minutes.
- Your Green Peas Masala Curry | Masala Vatana Curry is ready to eat.
- Serve this curry with chapati or bhakri or rice.
