
Sprouted Green Moong Carrot Salad is a super nutritious,refreshing,juicy salad.It is full of flavours and a powerhouse of nutrition.
Sprouting of any kind of legumes,nuts,seeds increases their nutritional value and make them more easy to digest.Consumption of sprouts is great for health.This green gram salad is easy to make for breakfast and for light nutritious lunch.
Ingredient In Salad
- Sprouted Green Moong : I have used homemade sprouted moong in this recipe.Its always better to cook or blanch or steam the sprouts before consumption.
- Grated Carrots : After sprouted moong,grated carrorts are the next main ingredient of this salad.
- Vege’s : I have used chopped onions,tomatoes,cucumber and finely chopped green chillies.
- Dressing : Fresh lemon juice ,black salt and chaat masala makes this salad more delicious.Finally fresh chopped coriander leaves gives a fresh flavour to this salad.

Sprouted Green Moong Carrot Salad

Ingredients :
- 1 cup Sprouted Green Moong
- 1 cup Grated Carrots
- ½ cup chopped Onions
- ½ cup Chopped Tomatoes
- ½ cup Chopped Cucumber
- 1 small Finely Chopped Green Chilly
- Freshly Chopped Coriander leaves
- Juice of ½ Lemon
- ½ tsp Black Salt
- ½ tsp Chaat Masala

Step by step method of preparing Sprouted Green Moong Carrot Salad
- Wash the whole green moong nicely.
- Soak the moong for 7-8 hours.
- Drain the water when moong is soaked nicely.
- Now tie the whole green moong tightly in a cotton cloth.
- Keep it in a warm place for a night for sprouting.
- Next day the moong gets nicely sprouted.
- Now add water and sprouted moong to a bowl and cook till the sprouted moong are cooked.

- Drain the excess water from the cooked sprouted moong and keep aside.
- In a bowl add cooked sprouted moong.
- Add grated carrots,chopped tomatoes,onions,cucumber & finely chopped chilly.
- Finally add freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.

- Add juice of half lemon.
- Add black salt and chaat masala for taste.

- Mix everything well.

- Your Sprouted Green Moong Carrot Salad is ready to eat.
