Whole Wheat Chocolate Banana Cake Recipe

Ingredients :
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup all purpose flour/maida
- 3 small ripen banana’s
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg (for eggless version add ¼ cup yogurt)
- ¼ cup chopped dark chocolate
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- ¼ – ½ cup chopped dry fruits of your choice
- ¼ cup oil
- 1/3 cup milk
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method :
- First grease the cake tin and line it with butter paper.
- Preheat the oven at 180 degree for 8-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile in a bowl add the ripen bananas.
- Mash them to fine consistency.
- Add sugar to it .
- Add oil.
- Give a nice mix.
- Now add the milk to the batter.
- Again mix well.
- Add a egg to it.
- Mix evenly.
- Now sieve the wheat flour,all purpose flour or maida,cocoa powder,baking powder & salt into the mix.
- Now fold the mixture till all comes together well.
- Next add chopped pieces of dark chocolate and chopped dry fruits.
- Give the batter a gentle mix.
- Now pour the cake batter into the cake tin.
- Tap the tin.
- Place the cake tin into the preheated oven.
- Now bake the cake at 180 degree’s for 35-40 minutes.(time of baking varies for different models of oven.See what time your oven takes for baking.)
- After 35 minutes check if the cake is done.
- You could see nice brown crust over the cake.
- Now the cake is done.
- Remove it from the oven.
- Pierce the tooth pick or knife to see if its done.
- Turn the tin to remove the cake.
- Let it get cool by placing it on a wire rack.
- Once nicely cooled slice the cakes evenly.
- Your Whole wheat chocolate banana cake is ready.
