Sweet Pumpkin Puri | Lal Bhoplyache Gharge

Sweet Pumpkin Puri | Lal Bhoplyache Gharge or Lal Bhoplyachaya Purya or also called as Dangrache Gharge is a popular Maharashtrian dish.It is made from red pumpkin and jaggery.A healthy and nutritious dish for tiffin and also a good option for breakfast. My mother always made it and we three siblings always ate them with great chao…it was always my personal favourite. The process of making this puri’s is very simple. You just have to steam the pumpkin and then mash it and add jaggery as per your taste.Add wheat flour and very rarely water is needed because the steamed pumpkin and jaggery releases enough of water that is sufficient for kneeding. Also when you roll these puri’s roll them a bit thicker.Due to thickness the puri’s won’t become hard.So lets start with the recipe…
