SPINACH DAL | PALAKACHE VARAN | DAL PALAK RECIPE

Since childhood I have been eating this version of dal or varan….Palkache varan or Spinach dal.Still I remember the way my mother used to prepare it.This recipe was always my favourite and this version is the same my mother use to make.

This dal has all flavours like sweet, spicy and tangy because of tamrind pulp(चिंचेचा कोळ) or kokum(आमसूल)(you can add any one as per your choice).

The spinach added makes this dal more healthy and nutritious. The one’s who hate eating spinach can really try this version of dal for sure.

Also I have added the finely grinded coconut paste which gives more flavour to this dal. This spinach dal goes nice with chapati and rice….

So lets start with this delicious and healthy version of dal….
