Whipped cream is used for many purposes.Whipped cream is prepared from heavy cream available in market .
It is widely used as toppings for cake’s,making icecream’s,decorating cake’s.The process of making whipped cream at home is a delicate job.But by through practice and perfection it can be easily prepared at home.
For making whipped cream you need a electric hand beater.By electric hand beater you get a soft,smooth and fluffy whipped cream.This whipped cream can be used for making icecream’s and for frosting the cakes.
But in case you don’t have electric hand beater then you can use your mixer for whipping.By this method you get smooth and soft paste of cream.It is not fluffy like that of you get from electric hand beater.But this cream can be used for making soft and smooth icecreams only.
You can whip the cream with the help of hand mixer also.But this process is time consuming.But can be used if you don’t have any option mentioned above.
In this recipe I have used electric hand beater for whipping the cream.
For this process you have to nicely chilled the heavy cream.This is very essential step for whipping.

INGREDIENTS :
- 1 cup cold heavy cream (I have used Amul fresh cream.)
- Electric hand beater.
( The quantity of cream can be increased as per your requirements )
METHOD :
- First place the mixer bowl and whisk in your freezer for atleast 20 minutes to chill.
- Into the cold bowl pour the chilled heavy cream.
- With the help of beater whisk the cream.
- The whipping should be done on slow speed and then gradually the speed should be increased.
- Whisk until the stiff peaks of the cream are formed,it takes about 1 minute.
- Do not whisk too much or the cream will churned into butter.
- For this I have whisked the cream on slow speed and once I got the peaks in the cream I had immediately stopped the whisking.
- When you take this whisked cream in a spoon and invert the spoon the cream doesn’t falls down.
- This the sign that your cream is properly whipped.
- By this method air is incorporated into the cream due to which the cream becomes light and fluffy and also increases in volume.
- This freshly whipped cream is ready to use.
- You can also refrigerate it in refrigerator and remove it before use.
- You can use this whipped cream for making icecream’s,mousse or for frosting cakes and pastries.
